About the Founder of RTColumbus:
It is an incredible honor to be a therapist. Therapy is a space where people choose to work through deeply painful experiences—often sharing parts of their lives they’ve never spoken before. I created this group practice to be a place where clients sit with a therapist who invites them to see themselves and their relationships through a trustworthy, compassionate lens.
Since I invite clients into growth, it must be a path I believe in and walk myself. For me, that path is Restoration Therapy. It’s a model that’s both accessible and profound—offering a daily practice of living in loving, trustworthy relationship with oneself and others. Restoration Therapy has been transformative in my own life, and it’s the paradigm I wholeheartedly invite others into. All of our therapists work from this model and are deeply committed to both personal and professional growth.
I have a passion for helping people reconnect with their inherent value. I’m able to see that value—even when someone is acting out in damaging ways or feels disconnected from who they wish they were. I love helping people repair, take authentic responsibility, and cultivate safety and care for themselves and those around them. Working with me means engaging in accountability and embracing opportunities for meaningful change. I offer a space where people can begin to see themselves rightly—and walk forward from that place with clarity and courage.
Education and Training:
I am a licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (F.1600015- SUPV). I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences, with a focus in Family Studies from the Ohio State University. I then moved to Pasadena, California where I completed my Master’s of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. While in graduate school, I trained under Dr. Terry D. Hargrave, Founder of Restoration Therapy model- which is central to my practice. While I have experience with a broad range of challenges, I have a focus in couples therapy, infidelity repair and partner betrayal trauma, sex addiction, trauma/distressing events, and addiction recovery and related issues. I am EMDR- trained through EMDR-HAP, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with the Patrick Carnes model, Prepare/Enrich certified facilitator and trainer, addiction recovery trained through West Coast Counseling and Group Therapy Center, Restoration Therapy Levels 1 & 2 certified through supervision with Dr. Terry D. Hargrave.

About Halsy:
I deeply believe in creating safe, collaborative, and empowering therapy spaces—especially for neurodivergent individuals, couples, and families. Therapy gives us a space to explore not just what’s hard, but also what’s possible. As your therapist, I desire to create that space—where you can show up as you are, unmask, build self-trust, and grow in meaningful ways.
I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—what shapes us, what connects us, and how healing happens in relationships. From my earliest studies in family systems, I felt a deep pull toward the idea that meaningful change doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens when we feel safe and seen.
Many people—especially neurodivergent individuals and those navigating identity, culture, or systemic barriers—go through life feeling misunderstood or like they have to hide parts of themselves. I wanted to be someone who could help change that.
I was drawn to the Restoration Therapy model because it understands that human distress is often relational — what we learned about trust/safety, and identity in our earliest relationships shapes how we live and relate now. Healing comes from addressing those patterns, not just alleviating individual symptoms. Restoration Therapy helps people not just understand their pain, but develop tools to regulate intense emotions, stay present, and choose healthier responses in the moment.
On a personal level, Restoration Therapy resonates because I have felt what it’s like when trust is broken, when patterns repeat beneath awareness, and when regular therapy helped—but only partially. What I’ve seen with RT is hope for deeper, more lasting repair. It’s a model that doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff, but also doesn’t leave us stuck in shame, fear, or disconnection. It invites people to live more fully—anchored in who they are, with tools to navigate what happens next.
Education and Training:
I am a Licensed Social Worker (S. 2410665) and earned both my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences- with a focus in Family Studies, and my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University with an emphasis on Mental Health. As a former Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Trainee at OSU’s Nisonger Center, I received advanced education and clinical training in neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD and autism. I also completed the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) program, where I focused on providing culturally responsive care for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients and families. I’m trained in EMDR and Level 1 Restoration Therapy.
I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges—and I especially love working with neurodivergent teens and adults, as well as neurodiverse couples and families. I welcome clients across the lifespan and across all identities, and I’m committed to helping people create lasting, meaningful change in their lives and relationships.
If you’re looking for someone who sees you, affirms your neurotype, and honors your story—I’d be honored to work with you.

About Laura:
It is a privilege to walk alongside people in the therapeutic process. My own experiences with anxiety led me to this work, so I know firsthand the courage it takes to step into therapy and it is important to me to honor that courage by offering a safe, compassionate space for clients where their vulnerability can be met with understanding and where hope and healing can begin to take root.
Restoration Therapy has been powerful in how I walk through my personal life and relationships and also in the way I understand and work with my clients. Helping others connect to their true worth and value and recognize their own empowerment and ability to create safety in their lives is deeply moving work and allows clients to create deeper and more meaningful connections with themselves and others.

About Megan:
Mental health can impact people regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or religion. I have always had the passion to work in this field because like many others, therapy has been a profound resource throughout my life for both myself and my family. I originally became a therapist because I saw a system that wasn't always filled with genuine or empathetic people, nor a world without constant judgement, so I wanted to dedicate my career to providing what I thought was necessary for healing; genuine honesty, compassion, no judgement, and a little sarcasm.
The therapeutic journey can be a time of healing, empowerment, and growth. These are all things that I try to help clients work toward in the therapy process. While therapy can be rewarding, it can also be challenging as you work through some difficult memories, experiences, or life transitions. One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to walk with you through these times by helping guide you toward resiliency and change, through hard work on your innermost self. Through the Restoration Therapy Model, we can help build trust in not only other people but within ourselves and be able to cultivate healthy relationships and a happier, healthier life.
