OFFICE and NATURE
We deeply value the role we play in our clients' lives. We honor this by providing a welcoming, professional, and calming space for clients. Each of our offices offers a beautiful wooded view of the Scioto River, creating a secluded and inspiring space for therapy. Just outside, the Kiwanis Riverway Park trails begin, offering a natural extension of the therapy space. These peaceful paths connect to Bridge Park and invite clients to slow down, reflect, and unwind in the calming presence of nature.

First Responder Families
Our group therapies are offered virtually and in office. We’ve found that capping each group at a maximum capacity of 8 individuals, allows everyone to get the most out their time and to more easily connect. Our series run for a season of about 8 weeks, so that you aren’t committed to meet for life. Although, we certainly have groups where individuals decide to sign up again.

Mindful Moments: Nature Walk
Simple Meditation Practices in Nature
High performing professionals. Parents in the kid stage. Just busy or hurried lifestyle.
This one session commitment drop-in group is filled with time connecting to nature. It’s not that you have never heard of mindfulness or meditation. It’s more likely that it just sounds like the last thing you want to do. We find this is the case for a lot of our career-oriented, fast-paced clients. It’s also super common for clients trying to get out of compulsive behaviors. We can help you experience simple and quick mindfulness practices on our walk through Kiwanis Nature Paths just outside our office. Depending on the day, you can expect to experience walks filled with animals and diverse plants, music, fishing and water oriented interventions, sensory body-focused interventions, EMDR. The vibe of this group will be akin to sitting on a front porch, in a rocking chair, with a glass of iced tea- just fully filled with intentional and simple mindfulness practices that you can in turn incorporate into the life you already live. Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety, improve focus, allow us to connect to our body cues on hunger feelings wants, and enable us to connect to others more easily. If this sounds like something you need, you are welcome to join this one off small group as an individual or couple. Must sign up ahead of time.
In these sessions, you'll:
Experience the benefits of slowing your day and de-cluttering your mind
Discover meditation practices you can easily incorporate into your daily life
Learn various creative ways to improve connection to your body, mind, and relationships
